2 sizes included: 4×6 and 5×7
2 new adorable embroidered greeting card designs!
These designs require a minimum of 5×7 hoop. They are not
available for the 4×4 hoop.
We highly recommend a high quality fibrous paper such as watercolor paper for *best* results. This is readily
available on Amazon, as well as stationary supply stores, Hobby
Lobby, Michaels or anywhere art supplies are sold.
Also recommended:
Medium weight fusible
cutaway stabilizer. We’ve found watercolor paper and a medium weight cutaway fusible stabilizer to be a great “recipe” for
embroidered greeting cards.
We prefer a 70/10 needle for stitching directly onto watercolor
paper, but a 75/11 will also suffice.
Each design comes in 2 sizes:
4×6 will fit on a 4×6 card with approximately 1/4-1/2 inch margin all the way
around.
5×7 will fit on a 5×7 card with approximately 1/4-1/2 inch margin all the way
around. I like to stitch my design onto Watercolor Paper, and then trim it out and mount it onto a
contrasting colored cardstock.
For your convenience, each design in each size includes a printable PDF
TEMPLATE to assist you in positioning your design onto your cardstock.
When stitching, for BEST RESULTS, slow down your machine to
the SLOWEST SPEED.
